Altar Servers assist priests, deacons and other ministers in the celebration of the Mass and other Liturgies. This ministry provides an opportunity to enter deeply into the mystery of the Eucharist with reverence, dignity and love.
Altar Servers must have completed third grade and received First Holy Communion. Altar Servers are scheduled to serve at weekend and Holy Day Masses, school Masses and special Liturgies. Servers should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled Mass. Servers must attend regularly- scheduled training sessions.
New Altar Server Information:
Currently, there is a waiting list for new altar server training. Please complete a new server application and return completed application to the Holy Family Parish Office, Attention: Deacon Doug. Upon receipt of application, he/she will be placed on the waiting list and contacted prior to the next training session.
Note: There are three training sessions new servers are required to attend plus a Commissioning Ceremony. When the dates are available, they will be sent to prospective new servers.
