Altar Servers assist priests, deacons and other ministers in the celebration of the Mass and other Liturgies. This ministry provides an opportunity to enter deeply into the mystery of the Eucharist with reverence, dignity and love.
Altar Servers must have completed third grade and received First Holy Communion. Altar Servers are scheduled to serve at weekend and Holy Day Masses, school Masses and special Liturgies. Servers should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled Mass. Servers must attend regularly- scheduled training sessions.
New Altar Server Information:
Currently, there is a waiting list for new altar server training. Please complete a new server application below. Upon receipt of application, he/she will be placed on the waiting list and contacted prior to the next training session. The Next training sessions will be as follows: (You must attend all training required to become a server and be in this ministry)
Part One-Monday February 25th @ 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm in the Church, (Parent(s) will need to be present for Scheduling Training)
Part Two-Tuesday February 26th at 7:00 pm-8:15 in the Church
We will have a special commissioning at Mass followed by an all server Breakfast and meeting on Sunday June 2, 2019-9:30 am Mass.
