Peace of Heart Service Saturday

On Saturday, December 10, Holy Family Youth Discipleship went out to Peace of Heart Community in Ponte Vedra Beach to serve at the community for young adults with autism. Peace of Heart is a community with a home for young adults with autism to live together. Thier mission is to create a "meaningful life for persons with autism through community, faith, and sustainability." A huge part of their mission is to get the community members off of their phones and away from their screens and out in nature, learning to use their motor skills by working on the farm! 

The Holy Family teens helped Peace of Heart by weeding in the garden, making dirt out of mulch, and getting to meet all of the farm animals. Check out the photos from the day below. Look out for our spring Service Saturdays coming up!
