Josie is a Jacksonville native, born and raised Catholic as the sixth child in a family of seven. A competitive tennis player for 13 years of her life, Josie played for four years at the University of Florida where she won a national championship. While at UF, Josie majored in Public Relations and got involved in the Catholic Gators campus ministry, where she got the chance to grow deeper in her faith alongside her peers. After graduating in 2018, Josie went on to play professional tennis for a brief period before accepting a job at the University of Notre Dame. In that time, she volunteered with Youth Ministry, RCIA, and ran her own online ministry, blog, and podcast Beautiful Depths. God’s providence and her desire to serve the Church in a more tangible way led her to return to her native sunshine state as Coordinator of Youth Discipleship here at Holy Family. Josie has a deep desire to share the joy of the Gospel with the next generation of Catholics so they can in turn change the world! In her free time, you can catch her spending time with her husband Jack, exploring local coffee shops, doing active things outdoors, or reading a good book.
